A Scanner Darkly

" What does a scanner see? I mean, really see? Into the head? Down into the heart? Does a passive infrared scanner … see into me — into us — clearly or darkly? I hope it does see clearly, because I can't any longer these days see into myself. I see only murk. Murk outside; murk inside. I hope, for everyone's sake, the scanners do better. Because if the scanner sees only darkly, the way I myself do, then we are cursed, cursed again and like we have been continually, and we'll wind up dead this way, knowing very little and getting that little fragment wrong too."

- Bob Arctor/ Fred

Brilliant! A very engrossing tale about the intentional destruction of a human for the greater good. A very reccomended watch.

I'm crossing my fingers and praying I'm lucky enough to get it.

Wish me luck will ya!

It's that time of the year where final year students are busy busy busy. Busy with the final year projects, assignments, and deciding on a career path. Me? I'm just walking along the roadside, walking and watching as the day passes. Watching the busy crowd rush back and forth, too engrossed to take a moment to live. But the path I'm walking on is soon coming to a forked road. And on that road is where we say our final goodbyes and wish each other luck.

Again, re-entering the rat race and being too engrossed to live.

Blimey, blame it on Renee Olstead's "Sentimental Journey".
